Lecturing, Research and Critical Writing
Alexis is currently Associate Lecturer in Music at Goldsmiths, University of London and a supervisor at the University of Cambridge.
At Goldsmiths, Alexis teaches composition, analysis, music and film, creative research projects, and media composition. He supervises third-year undergraduates at the University of Cambridge, and has also been a visiting lecturer at Brunel University, Kingston University, and the Animation Production department at Arts University Bournemouth. As an Edison Fellow at the British Library Sound Archive, he researched Francis Chagrin and his work at the BBC French Service.
Alexis is reviews editor of Music, Sound, and the Moving Image, a journal published by Liverpool University Press.
